Educational Horsepower Rising in Credit
August 1, 2007

Source: Credit Today 2007-2008 Salary & Job Satisfaction Survey
In our previous Salary & Job Satisfaction Survey three years ago, we observed that only 57 percent of survey participants had completed a college degree (or more). But the education level of this year's participants is markedly higher once again.

The percentage of participants with less than a full college degree declined markedly from 43 percent in the last survey to only 31 percent in the current survey. In addition, over 26 percent of survey respondents have graduate credits (10.5%) or a full degree (15.7%), up from a total of 14 percent last time around.

Certification by Business Type

The table below shows the percentage of respondents with certifications of various levels by type of business.
