Rob Lawson - Currently the Publisher and one of the founders of Credit Today, Rob was formerly vice president of Special Services at the National Association of Credit Management. Prior to that, he directed the operations of NACM's Loss Prevention Department from 1983 through 1996, where he gained a national reputation for helping credit professionals save millions (perhaps billions) of dollars from credit fraud.
His ideas have been featured in numerous articles in the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, the Washington Post, Miami Herald, and many regional business papers.
He has lectured to well over 100 major credit industry groups and been a featured speaker at many regional and national credit conferences. He was a regular lecturer at the FBI Academy at Quantico and Leesburg, VA on the subject of credit fraud.
His models for loss prevention were used by Dun & Bradstreet to establish its High Risk Detection Center.
A graduate of the College of Wooster in Wooster, OH, he began his career as a regional credit manager at the J.M. Smucker Company in Orrville, OH.

Wayne Muller handles editorial duties and is the premier writer in the field of trade credit. While with Prentice Hall, Wayne conceived and founded the original credit newsletter - The Credit & Collection Manager's Letter - which Credit Today purchased in 2006. Wayne has written and edited some of the top business-to-business newsletters in the world and was editor-in-chief at the Bureau of Business Practices. Robert Ferris - One of the founders of Credit Today, Bob performs a variety of editorial, web-related, and sales roles for Credit Today. Formerly the Editor of Business Credit magazine and Senior Technical Editor at the NASA Center for Aerospace Information, Bob is a world class editor and as savvy as they come in the trade credit field. David Schmidt is contributing editor to Credit Today. He graduated from the University of Michigan, then began his commercial credit career in 1976 as a business analyst with Dun & Bradstreet. Since then, he has managed credit and collections departments for Remington Rand, Towa Corporation of America, Erico Fasteners and the Colorcon division of Berwind Pharmaceutical Services. He is one of the nation's leading experts in technology solutions for credit departments and has been consulting in commercial credit, specializing in system improvement and cost reduction since 1994. He has been a contributing editor for Business Finance magazine and was formerly the editor of The Credit Manager newsletter. In addition, he has authored numerous articles published in other credit and finance related periodicals, and co-authored Power Collecting: Automation for Effective Asset Management, (John Wiley & Sons, 1998). Listed in Who's Who in America and a member of the Credit Research Foundation, Schmidt has presented workshops to industry credit groups, conducted seminars at local NACM meetings, and spoken at numerous credit and finance related conferences.
