On drop shipments to our customers' customers, which state tax do we pay? May 11, 2010
Do we have any sales tax experts out there? We are getting conflicting information about direct/drop shipments. If a customer requests shipment be made directly to their customer which is in a different state than our customer, which state's tax certificate do we obtain, or does it depend on whether our customer has a presence in the ship to state. . . .
